Shirley Rowe is the principal photographer for the business She became interested in photography in her late teens. She took every photography class she could find and took her camera with her everywhere she went. Although she loves landscape photography, she was always drawn to photographing people and animals. She began with black and white film and developed her own film and loved making her own prints. She believes that starting in film has given her a greater understanding of the depth of a photograph. After taking several years off to raise her daughter full time, Shirley returned to the world of photography in 2000. As digital photography became more affordable, she once again returned to the classroom and learned a new way of creating beautiful images. In 2006 after moving from Central Florida to Richmomnd Hill, Georgia, her lifelong dream of owning a professional photography studio became a reality.

Kelly Rowe manages the business and is the technical expert that keeps the businessstate of the art. He has many years of experience in the IT field.

Jillian Rowe is a master Photoshop artist and creates unique images. Jillian is also the owner of 17 Star Media, a graphic design and web development studio which she operates out of the Rowe Photographers Offices.

Rowe Photographers is a family owned and operated business founded in 2006. We specialized in Fine Art Portraiture for families and children. We also offer event and commercial photography . Our photographs have appeared in many local business advertisements, magazines, and on billboards throughout the Savannah and Richmond Hill area.

We have been the official photographers for the Great Ogeechee Seafood Festial, the Savannah Southern Women’s Show, and other local events.

We offer individual, family, or large group portraiture. We like to take the time to make sure you receive the highest quality product. We allow one hour for each session so you will never feel rushed. Our large, professionally equipped studio can accommodate any family and we welcome pets, as we believe they are an important part of your family.

If you would like to have your session at your home or a favorite location, we do offer location sessions. Your front porch, Tybee Island, and local parks make beautiful backgrounds for a family portrait. We try to personalize your photo session to your family’s personality.
